Cut Out Hearts
I made this card for an a Challenge on SCS. We were challenged to use our scissors and cut out things for our card. I made a gate fold card that was also this weeks tutorial on SCS. (Thanks Beatte) I started with a 5.5"X8.5" piece of Basic Grey CS. I scored the cardstock at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" to make the gate fold card. I then cut and layered a piece of Purely Pomegranate CS on each side of the card fronts. I stamped a piece of Pretty in Pink CS cut to layer on the Purely Pomegranate with the Paisley BG stamp and Purely Pomegranate ink. To make the layers that are on the top of the card I layered Purely Pomegranate, and Basic Grey CS. I then stamped the heart from the Always stamp set three times. I stamped it useing Purely Pomegranate ink on Purely Pomegranate CS, Pretty in Pink CS, and Vellum CS. I cut out the heart on the Purely Pomegranate outside the dots outlineing the heart and pierced the dots. I then cut only the heart out on the Pretty in Pink and layered it on the Purely Pomegranate heart using pop dots. I stamped the vellum heart with versamark and embossed it with irredescent ice, cut out only the heart and layered it with pop dots on the Pretty in Pink heart. I glued this on the right side of the gate fold close to the bottom. To finish the card I tied a belly band around the top with Purely Pomegranate 5/8" Satin Ribbon.

Sandy, this is just gorgeous. You've used some of my favorite, colors, ribbon and shapes. This is a beauty.
